- Taking part in clinical trials can often have a huge emotional burden, mainly because it is linked to fear of the unknown. The fear, lack of personal approach, and connection are key reasons study participants cite for dropping out of clinical trials.
- Mental health may be a deciding factor in trial recruitment and retention. A better understanding of our study subjects and patient-centered communication enhances participant engagement and translates into increased compliance and retention.
